Having Challenging Conversations

Back to landing page

Welcome

Challenging conversations are one of the most avoided things in the workplace. Most people know they need to have them. Most people put them off anyway.

This course is designed to change that — not by giving you a script, but by helping you actually practise. Each chapter gives you the core ideas first, then hands you over to Florence, to put them into action in a real or realistic scenario.

We can choose courage, or we can choose comfort, but we can't have both. Not at the same time

How it works

Each chapter follows the same pattern: read the essentials (2–3 minutes), then practise with Florence (around 5 minutes). Florence will challenge you, ask questions, and help you practice with scenarios.

You'll get the most out of this if you bring a real situation. There's almost certainly a conversation you've been putting off. This is a good place to start working through it.
